Lauren
Szeezil
Retiring from the corporate hustle and bustle in her early 20s, Lauren felt a strong pull to the holistic wellness industry.

After practicing yoga for nearly 7 years and seeing the physical and mental health benefits firsthand, she wanted to share the benefits with those around her.
Lauren
acquired her 200-hour yoga teacher certificate from Soul Space Yoga in August of 2023. She is also certified in reiki energy healing and sound healing therapy.
Lauren believes that yoga is for every person regardless of shape, size, or gender. She invites you to come as you are. She is here to hold space for you to explore your personal practice.

Kayla
Mccarthy-Assha
As the owner of Akasha Yoga Room and a retired high school teacher, Kayla is no stranger to the overwhelming stressors of daily life.
She began her yoga journey in 2014 as a college student searching for a way to manage stress. Over the years, it became clear that a consistent yoga practice can do much more than reduce stress; it can also improve one's quality of life.
Grateful for her transformation, Kayla began sharing the practice with others in 2020 when she became a certified yoga instructor.
Now an RYT500 with
additional certifications in Yin, restorative, and prenatal yoga, Kayla opened Akasha Yoga Room as a way to follow her passion: to provide as many people as possible with practices that can help them overcome the stress and pressures of the modern world, and instead find fulfillment, contentment, peace, and the courage to be exactly who they are.
